One of our fans asked us to post a picture of Gamma Station, so, featured here, is the former Galaxy-class stardrive section of the USS Enterprise-D, now redesignated as Gamma Station (a stationary deep space facility). Gamma Station is located 70,000 light years from Bajor, near an unexplored star system, on the Gamma Quadrant side of the wormhole. It is now, officially, the furthest Starfleet facility from Federation space.
Gamma Station resides where it does, because it generates a constant gravimetric field that anchors the Gamma Quadrant terminus of the Bajoran Wormhole. The station has a crew of 150, and is currently defended by the Saber-class starship, USS Patriot.
