For those reading the historical experiences of the USS Enterprise-D and her crew, this is the end of our existence within the Original Devron Timeline. On this date, history has changed -- allegedly caused by the actions of Captain Jonathan Archer, when he ended a "Temporal (Cold) War" in 2154.
While history bears no evidence of a "Temporal (Cold) War", Captain Archer once claimed to have experienced events that he helped to erase. He stated that a temporal war did occur, with military conflicts taking place at many points along the timeline -- possibly even interfering with alternate realities. He played a part in erasing those temporal conflicts (though, apparently retained memory of them), and, in doing so, all of time and history was reset to exclude any existence of those conflicts.
Ripples from that temporal reset permeated all of time, and, today, they appear to have reached us in the 24th Century. Our Original Devron Timeline has changed to become a new, Reset Devron Timeline. While no one else in our reset timeline is aware of any changes (because they changed along with history), we -- the crew of the USS Enterprise-D -- remember how time used to be, due to our unique experiences inside the "anti-time" Devron Anomaly of 2363 (which also seems to have existed across time).
