On Friday, I announced that I had purchased a new vessel to replace my recently lost Type-6 shuttle (which was originally given to me, within my uncle’s will, when he passed away years ago). I also stated that my new vessel has been approved for (rented) parking space in Shuttlebay 3 -- so long as it remains available for mission use, if needed. Well, that new vessel is a slightly used civilian-model Danube-class runabout. Yes, I now own a runabout, and that runabout will become part of the Enterprise-D’s auxiliary vessel manifest.
I purchased the runabout from a small dealership near Surplus Depot Z15 on Tamatal (Qualor II). As of right now, my runabout is registered as the “SS Grendamach” (i.e., the previous owner’s vessel name), but I would prefer to give it a new name befitting its new ownership. I’m leaning towards renaming it, ”Eagle II”, (in honor of my lost shuttle).
