Lieutenant Worf Is Late

There has been some concern over the whereabouts of our Klingon chief security officer, Lieutenant Worf Rozhenko. Last month, he was granted personal leave for three weeks, so that he could address family matters on the Klingon homeworld, Qo’Nos. He was due back aboard the Enterprise by this past Wednesday, but has not yet returned. In addition, we have not received any communication indicating a delay.

Lieutenant Worf left the Enterprise on January 27, aboard a non-Federation transport vessel. He was bound for a nearby Klingon colony planet, and was then scheduled to take a Klingon civilian transport to Qo’Nos. Worf indicated a desire to handle his affairs, and then return via a similar flight plan. We have no idea what those affairs are, or how successful he was in resolving them.

Captain Picard has stated that, if Lieutenant Worf has not returned to the Enterprise by Monday morning, he will order an investigation. Given the long communication distances, this investigation is likely to involve a mission into Klingon space.
