Earlier this afternoon, our Enterprise sensors detected a wormhole not far from our path through the Delta Quadrant. We changed course to investigate, and upon arrival, discovered that the wormhole is only large enough for a runabout to travel through. We sent a probe into the wormhole, and discovered that, to our joy, it leads to the Alpha Quadrant – near Romulan space. We are currently assessing our options, and making plans to send runabout exploratory missions through to the other side.
Our early probe scans have detected no ships on the other side of the wormhole.
