Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us in the USS Enterprise Public Affairs office! -- Whether you're eating a big turkey with family, sharing Bolian rice-meat with friends, or singing tales of Krogon's victory over Mardoc over a barrel of Klingon blood wine, we hope your day today is a blessed one!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Destination: The Federation Annex

Now that the USS Enterprise has been cleared for assignment (after being missing for a year), Starfleet is sending us out on a mission of deep space exploration. We are currently en route to the "Federation Annex" -- the region of Federation space on the other side of the Romulan Star Empire.

Our journey will have us stopping at Starbase 234 in "The Triangle", a wedge of space that borders Klingon, Romulan and Federation space. We will acquire some new crew, cargo and civilian specialists, and then we will cross under the Klingon/Romulan border, via a narrow strip of space known as "The Klingon Highway". Once we emerge on the other side (in the Federation Annex), we will arrive at Starbase 123, and from there, we will head out into deep space for a few months.

Many of us are excited for this opportunity. The Federation flagship is usually assigned to missions closer to Earth. However, with the return to prominence of the Romulans, Starfleet wants the Galaxy-class USS Enterprise to be present in the Annex -- just in case the Romulans try to encroach upon that distant region of the Federation.

We will have to be patient, though. The Annex and Starbase 123 are 155 light years away from Aldebaran. Even at warp 9.2, it will take us about a month to get out there.

You Can't Keep A Good Ship Down

For those of you that have been waiting for more updates from us here in the USS Enterprise Public Affairs office, have no fear. We've been on leave down on Aldebaran III. As I understand it, Captain Picard has received new orders to take the Enterprise on it's first assignment, here, in the year 2364. That means we could be leaving orbit as early as tomorrow afternoon.

After a sudden and expected time-travel event, we're finally getting ready to head back out into the vast expanse of space. Stick with us as we boldly go -- we're honored to have you following us!

USS Enterprise: Back In Service!

Good news! Starfleet Command has removed the USS Enterprise from the "Missing In Action" list. We're approved for mission assignments again!

Of course, from our perspective, our disappearance from the timeline was only a week ago. But to everyone else, we were missing for a year. So, this is probably a much bigger deal for the rest of the Federation. But, it means good things for all of us too. It means that we've been assessed, interviewed, and cleared by Command. The Enterprise is back in service!
